( 2.9 / 358 )The Committee Meeting on the Establishment of the ECO Seed Association was held on March 14-16, 2009 in Antalya. The delegates from the ECO Member States except Turkmenistan and representatives of FAO and ICARDA as well as of ECO Secretariat attended the Meeting.
National Seed Associations from Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Turkey have applied to be founding members.
3 associate members (seed companies) from Iran and Turkey are founders too.

The board of 9 directors has been elected.
More than 100 people have attended the meeting and 32 members have joined the association including two associared members.
The board of directors has elected his president: Mr. Saidajan ABDIANI during his meeting 20 October 2008.
